Safariland: 070 -- Level III Retention

Safariland: 2 -- Level I Retention

For officers who prefer a low-profile holster, our "hi-ride" holsters are the answer. A low-profile, molded, slotted belt loop design creates a firm yet comfortable belt attachment that greatly enhances stability, carry and draw. The high ride position near the torso and slightly forward grip cant provide excellent weapon retention and allow a quick easy draw. The thumb break with one-way directional snap and hammer strap hold the gun firmly in place. Model 2 is for pistols only.

Safariland 284 -- Level I Retention

The mid-ride model 284 is the first Level I STX2000 Duty Holster. You get the same super-tough composite exterior, the same suede lining, and the same Fine-Tac finish as the model 6280. Similar to its predecessor the 295 "Mid-Ride" Level II Retention holster, the 6295 model is built with the same SLS (Self-Locking-System) as the 6280 and an internal trigger guard lock that holds the weapon firmly in the holster with clamp-like injection molded fingers. The 6295 incorporates the Standard Universal Belt Loop (UBL).

Similar to its predecessor the 295 "Low-Ride" SLS (Self-Locking-System) and an internal trigger guard lock that holds the weapon firmly in the holster with clamp-like injection molded fingers. Since there is no strap the "SLS" allows for a smoother single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways. The hood can only be released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward and actually becomes more secure when upward force is applied. It is also far less likely to release accidentally than conventional thumb break snaps. The model 6285 is a level II Retention holster with a top draw and straight drop cant, a style popular with major police departments and a personal choice for individual officers. The 6285 features a tensioning device, molded sight track and orthopedic suede lining to protect the gun's sights and finish. It's wraparound construction provides the strongest design combination available. The 6285's Safari-Laminate structure makes these features possible. The tactical SLS holster is built for comfort as well as functionality. This holster features the SLS rotating hood system which is so well suited for the tactical situations encountered today. Since there is no snap, the "SLS" allows for a smoother single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways and provides reliability in the unpredictable conditions that occur during tactical operations. The hood can only be released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward and actually becomes more secure when upward force is applied. It is also far less likely to release accidentally than conventional thumb break snaps. The Tactical Finish of the holster is rugged, protecting the gun in scrape, scratch and dent incidents. The thermal-molded Safari-Laminate construction protects the gun, unlike a nylon holster, which can allow dents and dings to smash right through in tough conditions. Molded sight track and soft orthopedic suede protect the gun's sights and finish. A special feature of the Model 6004 is the double leg strap and the leg shroud.
