Note:
If you are storing your boat at a marina, we recommend that you purchase
the SlimTrak-VAM and select locate on demand as the mode of operation.
SlimTrak cannot distinguish between the motion caused by boat wake to
that of being pulled by a trailer, and will interpret either of these
events as motion and generate a position report. "False" motion
alerts for boats harbored in the marina or on the water can add up if
the device is programmed to send in every report generated, but when set
to locate on demand operation, you only receive the reports when you ask
the device to send them.
